Landscape Crafting, 2025
Holly Dale works across film, exhibition design, architecture and public space. Each project develops collaborative methods to build more meaningful relationships with the places we inhabit.
The practice engages with tensions; between scarcity and abundance, long-term transitions and the urgencies of everyday life. This is the unstable ground on which each project begins, guided by a commitment to social and ecological care.
Working between practice and academia, the studio builds on local knowledge and existing conditions. Through storytelling, observation and making, it uncovers what is already present but often overlooked. Design becomes a situated method: revealing relationships through action, making implicit knowledge tangible, and opening up new forms of collaboration.
